William Hittler Spotlighted in Bar Talk Article on Page Education Foundation
William Hittler, a founding shareholder of Nilan Johnson Lewis and health care practice group attorney, was featured in the December 21st issue of Bar Talk, the award-winning newsletter of the Federal Bar Association’s Minnesota Chapter. The article, “Lawyers Expand the Diversity Pipeline,” chronicles the history and growth of the Page Education Foundation, established in 1988 by Minnesota Viking-turned Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page and his wife to aid youth of color’s pursuit of higher education through mentoring and financial assistance. Hittler, named the Foundation’s 2010 Mentor of the Year, is pictured in the article alongside recent Page Scholar and College of St. Benedict alumna Mai Thao. He is commended for his time taking mentees out to lunch or coffee – and occasionally having them accompany him in court.
