- Alameda Alliance for Health: Assisted this Medi-Cal managed care plan to effect a financial turn-around with medical management and contracting strategies.
- General Motors: Developed a model to evaluate staffing and work flow in GM owned plant-based clinics, preliminary evaluation of international plant clinics, evaluated potential new GM owned clinics.
- Bowers & Associates: Analyzed staff positions and advised on cross state nurse licensure issues.
- Hong Kong Hospital Authority: Assisted the Authority with health system wide service delivery analysis as a base for a potential insurance product offering. Interviewed hospitals, physicians and insurers in Hong Kong, Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories.
- Medical Mutual of Ohio: Developed staffing ratios, analysis and recommendations for this 1.5 million member health care insurer.
- Meritain: Evaluated a Disease Management Company for possible purchase by Meritain, accompanied Meritain when meeting with their venture capital firm.
- Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections: Assisted with contract analysis and negotiations with the University of Ohio for medical care for prisoners.
- Louisiana State Employees Group Benefits Program: Benchmarked and evaluated this state employee health insurer’s performance in claims processing, contracting, medical management, member services and other key functions.
- State of Maine, Bureau of Insurance: Assisted the State with evaluation of Certificate of Need applications.
- Premera: Developed templates for communication with employers about health plan performance.
- Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association: Assisted this High Risk Pool with the selection of a vendor for disease and case management.
